You have five to six more calls and the next thing you know, you're paying $5,000 a month for "guaranteed" results and all you're seeing on your social pages is stock photos being posted to Instagram with boring captions and blog articles about broad-stroke industry news on your Facebook page.

3. You say to yourself- "Self, I'm a perfectly capable business owner and I don't need some stuck-up know-it-all marketing agent to get paid to post about my business when nobody knows my business better than me!" and a month later, you realize you haven't posted anything to any page in two weeks and you realize you're in way over your head.
